Onam celebration held at Our Campus, with an n number of varieties of dishes which was Judged by Mr. Arun Kumar (Managing Director of Four Cups Restaurant, Coimbatore), Mr. Raja (Executive Chef, Hotel #6, Coimbatore).
Onam, a vibrant festival celebrated in Kerala, embodies rich cultural significance. Its history traces back to the mythological tale of king Mahabali, whose reign symbolized prosperity and harmony. During Onam, Intricate Pookalams adorned with vibrant flowers grace doorsteps which symbolizes abundance of joy. Additionally, Students showcased their culinary skills by preparing traditional Kerala foods, offering a delightful feast for the senses. These Dishes, ranged from avial to payasam, reflect the essence of Kerala’s culinary heritage and the Dishes were judged by esteemed panellists. The celebration ended with a blast of drums, songs and dance by our students.
